My Story

David Nii Odehe A. is a purpose-driven teacher who comes from a background of brokenness and surrender.

He was stopped from pursuing a dream he so believed to be his. If the Lord had allowed him to get to the UK or the US, He would have lost David to that pursuit. The dream to win Gold at the Olympic Swimming Championship was valid and all-consuming, but the Lord had other plans to redirect his focus to the path He had chosen for Nii.

It was in India that the Lord God got his attention. He needed to let go of Vanessa, detach from Danielle, and tell Helena that it was not in his power to choose her… He needed to meet Sanusha, Priyanka, and a few others in the journey leading to the discovery of why things happened as they did.

When he is not writing, he takes pleasure in reading, reaching out to the broken, and to those who need a reason to believe, in destiny and in the God of Israel.

To the seekers of meaning and purpose, and to those yet to discover their original identity, as Kings and Queens of the Most-High God – Yeshua the Lamb.

Personal Life

In recognition of the struggles faced by today’s generation — questions of identity, worth, genuine love and attraction, peer pressure, absent fathers, hidden wounds, and the search for belonging — are the same struggles that have followed humanity throughout history.

The words of the ancient Hebrew sage ring as true today as they ever have: there is nothing new under the sun. I share my own story of some of these struggles, and with love, I boldly say: You are not alone, and you are going to be alright.

That conviction is what drives every page Nii Odehe writes.

May these pages help you build relationships rooted in understanding, not in confusion, fear, or extremes, but in mutual respect, truth, and enduring love.

And to those who still believe lasting love is possible in a changing world—this work is dedicated to you.
